We went here a few years ago. And it's definitely family friendly, but the food was not very good at all, it's a bit cheesy, and I didn't like the "religious push" towards the end of the show.
Food. Was good, found the place dark better blighting would sure help, staff friendly Wit good service.shoews vary from good to bad.
Good place to go with groups. The more the merrier there! love it. there are hay rides, old goast town items, and much more.
Too expensive! Food was good, plates too small. Show had act/song that made fun of Native Americans, complete with kids feathered head dress, I realize the song is a classic, but it was done in bad taste, not fun or cute. Enjoyed other classic cowboy songs, but not a comfortable place for older adults because of uncomfortable seating, and buffet serve yourself. Support this family entertainment, but won't be back, and doubt it matters.
This is probably the best entertainment ive had in Arizona EVER. If you want to know why this place is rated 4 stars, READ THE BAD REVIEWS. They are completely moronic.
Very disappointing. We booked our tickets way in advance. Upon arriving with our ticket confirmation we learned seats had already been assigned. When we arrived at our table our seats were taken. When the couple occupying our seats were asked to show their tickets to confirm seating, they refused and stated they were told they could sit there. We addressed the situation with the manager/owner and discovered her seating chart was not consistent with the lettered tables and numbered seats. To make matters worse, we were verbally and physically assaulted which then involved a call requesting the presence of police officers. If the manager/owner had addressed the error in seating appropriately, this whole scenario could have been avoided. We requested a full refund which was finally given to us and we left. I would highly not recommend the Rockin' R Ranch.
This is a very fun experience for the whole family. I personally love dinner theatres so when I went to Arizona this was on the top of my list. It is set up like a little town when you come in and visit. There are lots of things to do before dinner so arrive early if you can. They had a shooting gallery, petting zoo, sweet shop, and a bar for before dinner drinks. You are free to roam about and try so delicious Dutch oven biscuits while you wait. The atmosphere is comfortable and quaint. When you get ready to go into dinner and eat they serve your food on one plate but you are free to get seconds if there are any leftovers. Cowboy Dinner includes: applesauce (real stuff), beans, choice of BBQ style beef or chicken, baked potato, roll, and crumb cake. I thought that all the food was delicious. It was a welcome treat to most food you eat while traveling. Drinks were a little lacking lemonade, water, and coffee. Although I have to say I DO NOT drink lemonade, or like it. This lemonade however was so delicious I ended up drinking a lot of it. Everyone at Rockin R Ranch was so nice and really made you feel like part of the family. They sit down and also have some dinner while you eat. Afterwards they play some good ol' country music that I think anyone can enjoy. Rockin R Ranch is a great way to experience a good wholesome evening with some cowboys and cowgirls. I recommend it to anyone who wants a have good, clean, pleasant fun with your family or whoever else you might be with. Also if you have any questions about it you can find their email on their website and they will answer quickly and they will actually answer you questions without asking you to call their number!. I can't tell you how many times I email a company and they A) never get back with me or B) tell me to call their home office. It was very refreshing to have them email me back with all my questions answered! A+ Rockin R Ranch
This place is awesome. Food was good. It's not a fancy sit down restaurant, it's a old fashion BBQ dinner. I'll probably come here every time I visit az. Just bring cash for tips, I didn't think about that aspect so I'll have to mail them a tip when I get home
