  • I have visited the air force museum twice and have greatly enjoyed myself both times. It's well worth the trip. Even the youngsters have a great time.  more »

  • This museum experience is hard to describe if you are in the least fascinated by history or aviation. What a great display of vintage aircraft. You get upclose and personal with them, including crawling thru a B-29 bomber. The staff were all knowledgable, helpful and pleasant. The facility is amazing for the "Walk of Honor" entrance, to the outside airplane displays, to the film, and of course the interior displays of planes, and other information. Even the gift shop was excellant. What a great experience. I only scimmed the surface in a 2 hour visit. You could easily spend an entire day touring this museum. This is a live museum complete with aircraft rides. On the flight line display, I witnessed several of the musuems airplanes take off, land and one aborted take off. The pilot and plane were okay. Just lost its air brakes. This musuem is one of the prize jewels of the Valley. Keep up the great work!
  • It's a great opportunity to see and learn! The entirely volunteer staff was so kind and knowledgeable, giving a fascinating tour and explanation of the museum. Take the time to talk to them - a wealth of history. The museum is funded wholly through donations, so please do what you can.
  • I really enjoyed this museum. They were welcoming to all ages. My 5 yr old and buay 3 yr old were allowed to explore and pedal a cute little aircraft. The Veterans were informative and just showed a passion for these aircrafts. I will definitely return!
  • Great staff! Lots of history. Great to look and touch, just not the chrome. If you're interested in flying history at all, its a must see.
  • The planes are very cool and maintained very well, but the admission prices are pretty high at $15 a person. The hours are also a bit disappointing, as we planned a day to go out and didn't expect it to close at 4pm but that is also our fault for not checking before hand. I would recommend this place if you love planes and history.
