  • Interesting hike to a small "house" This is a relative short loop of a trail at Mesa Verde national park. It's self-guided but there is a ranger there when we went. It's small but you can explore it. Called the Step House because there are a couple of different levels with steps. It's actually pretty small but it's still amazing how they built this kind of place 1000 years ago. It's worth the hike but certainly not the primary attraction at Mesa Verde national park.
  • A short easy walk to Step House. Closed for stabilization in Summer of 2016 it is still easily viewed from an overlook trail.
  • A second dig site, and another location in the park that cannot be overlooked. This location can be seen by vehicle.
  • a beautiful place if we stopped in MesuVerdu, be sure to visit this place
