We reserved a room at Devil's Head Resort because my cousin and his wife held their wedding reception there. I requested early check in and was told I could definitely check in early. When I asked wha... read more »

Let me begin by saying that the (2-star) rating is due to my overall experience the day I went, much to blame on Mother Nature for being nearly 60 degrees in Feb...I'll deal with Her later! I know it ... read more »
We stayed at the inn. The price was unbeatable but you get for what you pay. The rooms need some definite updating with everything a little behind in care. But all the staff were so nice and accommodating. We went to devil's den and cornucopia and the food was great. Also went and hiked at devil's lake which was amazing and visited baraboo which is an awesome little city. Definitely will be coming back!
Loved the indoor pool with hot tub, and stays open until midnight. Outside pool was awsome with a basketball hoop. Also had a fire pit,you could enjoy. Alot of lovely landscape. Will definitely go back again. Plus theprice was right!
Loved the musty smell and even worse in elevator. Bed sheet looked 20 years old as well as tv. Not fitted sheet on bed. Comforter coming unraveled. Stains on drapes. No fridge. Not worth 30 let alone 90 a night.
I attended a wedding here this past weekend in which the ceremony was held outside and the reception was inside. The reception hall was spacious and had a large, nice patio off it. No complaints there. The bride and groom reserved rooms at the resort for their guests, but after reading the google reviews of this place, I decided to book somewhere else. I'm so glad I did! The reason I'm giving two stars is because at the reception I couldn't count the number of people complaining about their rooms. One had an UNLOCKED adjoining door to the next room. One had a broken window. One had blood on their sheets. And all of them complained about the overwhelming stench that assaulted their noses. PLEASE DON'T STAY OVERNIGHT HERE. The good reviews on google are all about the skiing and golfing, I have yet to see a good review from someone who stayed in a room.
Great place to ski and snowboard! Hotel is hit and miss but can't complain for the price. With the exception of the Devils den pizza it's best to bring your own food or drive into town. I would give it a 6 star review if they had highspeed lifts.
