  • This park is small but very nice and quite. The Bosque Trail goes around the entire lake and takes about 2.5 hours. Primitive camp sites on far side of the lake are spread out pretty good. The town is...  more »
  • We went on the 2.7 mile hike around the little lake. Saw several possums and evidence of other critters. Only saw a couple of other people which made it seem nice and secluded. The bee cave has a grea...  more »

  • This was our second time out with or RV. We loved it. Staff was great and had everything you needed. We will be back again for sure. The lake was so nice and we enjoyed a morning of fishing and relaxing.
  • As far as lakes go this one is exceptional. Small inviting atmosphere and lake. Few people at any one time. Good fishing with many species stocked multiple times a year. No trash, no drinking, few boats if any, dock for kids to fish, clean swimming area. Hiking trails in all levels, tent sites, three levels of cabins, and RV hookups. Perfect for a safe fun family camping trip. Park rangers on site 24/7.
  • Very pretty Park, though the lake looks like little more than a large stock tank. We had reserved camping spots but our reservation somehow got lost and the place was packed by the time it was discovered. Still made for a peaceful day trip. Calm water and ok fishing, but absolutely no cellular service.
  • Beautiful park! Paid for 'premium shelter' which meant a shelter on the lake, right in front of fishing pier, swimming area, and near to restroom. Great hiking trails and scenery! Didn't see a single mosquito! Close to town and restaurants.
  • We were there in 24 foot RV during weekdays and it was an awesome experience. Staffs were kind, bathrooms were very clean and walking trails were well marked and very nice. One suggestion. I wish the park put up some lights all around bathrooms not just front side. It is total darkness at night.
