DeSoto Falls is a 104ft waterfall located on the West Fork of the Little River near Mentone, Alabama, in DeSoto State Park. The falls have carved their own small canyon. They are named after Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto.

  • Desoto Falls are beautiful to view and are very accessible for everyone. The falls are just a few steps away from the parking lot. You can canoe or kayak at the river edge also. There are picnic table...  more »
  • We try to come here every couple months to relax and hike. There are tons of trails with beautiful scenery. The campground is well taken care of and the staff are extremely helpful.  more »
