  • Beautiful spot. I love how the river beach meets the ocean beach. Hard to beat beautiful forest coming right down to the water. Plenty of parking in a rough dirt lot and a port-a -potty too.
  • Truly stunning views. Visited in mid April and it was so beautiful even though it was 50 degree weather. 5 min walk from downtown Mendocino, very convenient.
  • The headlands/view is really the main reason to even visit Mendo! There's some truly awesome spots to explore along the coast here, even being here over a year now I still find new things to see. You can park right up to the cliffs in some parts so it's accessible by all. The little parking areas are connected by a long dirt path that winds along the cliffs all around the edge of town.
  • Gorgeous!!! If you want picturesque Pacific Northwest experience on Highway 1, I can't recommend Mendocino enough. Wonderful town and incredible cliff sites and beaches to explore.
  • Beautiful natural bridges. A must see spot to see whenever you visit Mendocino.
