Climb on the rocks lining the beach to get a view of the surf, other beaches, lighthouses, and fishing villages along Mendocino Coast. Walk around the area and look out for the otters that frequent the river.   • Don't miss putting Hwy. 1 on your bucket list. Plan to take a slow drive if on the weekend but mid-week there is less traffic. The views of the ocean are fantastic, as are the redwoods.
