  • The hotel is one of those places you want to say you have stayed at. If you want to go to Beale street, then it is a great place to stay from a location standpoint. The management staff were super polite, but the rank-file don't like their jobs... they were mostly surly or just disinterested. If you want to see the ducks... get there early... and be prepared to deal with hundreds of other people. About the only ones who get to a good view are the kids who were allowed to sit up front. Stick around after the crowds leave and you get to see the ducks swimming in the fountain and being fed, but it's not the same as seeing them march to the fountain. We tried twice, but despite having "good seats", people pushed their way to the front at the last minute to take photos... so we only got a glimpse of them on their march. Their complimentary hotel coffee is horrible (and it's the same they serve in the restaurants). The complimentary bath products in the room were so-so. The signature duck soap was the coolest thing as well as the best quality of the products, The rooms were clean, but bathrooms were cramped. Our room had a walk-in closet which had a build in vanity which my wife loved. If you have a car, save the hike and get valet parking. The valets don't really like their job, but it still easier to deal with then retrieving your own car. The hotel itself is nicely renovated. They are expanding their "shopping concourse" so the options were limited, but Lansky's at the hotel had a better selection than their location down the street. The desk staff did offer immediately to refund the resort fee to compensate for a bad dining experience with staff in one of their restaurants which I mentioned at checkout. This was typical of the visit.. some staff truly wanted you to have a good experience, while others wanted nothing to do with you.
  • The Peabody has a great atmosphere and is truly first class. It is an older hotel but that is part of what adds to its charm. The world famous ducks are entertaining as well. Great place to stay or just pop in for a visit.
  • Spent one night and it was fantastic! The rooms were well-stocked and clean, the interior of the rooms were gorgeous, and the lobby is a work of art. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the location provides easy access to much of downtown Memphis, including fairly cheap parking. The ducks were adorable and the restaurants nearby are delicious.
  • A delightful hotel with extraordinary service. Traveling for work, they give me an upgrade to a deluxe room which came with a wonderful layout and made for a most relaxing stay. I plan on coming back to visit Memphis with my wife and enjoy relaxing in this unique hotel and charming city again soon.
  • The building itself was beautiful, very close to nice resturants, and Beale Street. The in house bar was also very nice. And I loved the pomp and circumstance with the ducks. I had a very easy time checking in and out, and everyone I talked to was very helpful.
