  • It was amazing to be able to stand in the same place where so many music greats stood and recorded music I have listen to and loved my entire life. The tour guide was fantastic and did an amazing job imparting the history of the studio, the artists and the music. I got goosebumps listening to Johnny Cash's music in the room where he recorded it years before. It was amazing.
  • Love, love, love Sun Studio! What can I add about the place where so much marvelous music and history has been made? You can almost feel the ghosts passing through the studio. The tours start at the bottom of the hour and last around 20 minutes. We had a lovely and knowledgeable tour guide filling us in on a brief history of the opening of the studio in 1952 as well as Elvis Presley's subsequent discovery there. At the end of the tour, you're allowed to photograph and video all you want in the studio. I only wish I'd been allowed to linger just a little longer in the studio; I wasn't ready to leave this shrine that quickly!
  • Great spot! Tour is very informative, can get crowded. Huge gift shop, tons of friendly staff. Actually got married in the studio prior to the opening for tours. Nina was a huge help! This place is a great stop!
  • The tour is really fun. Be sure to move around the room and see everything because the tour goes quick. My partner missed a section because we had to move on to the studio itself.
  • Amazing tour. Worth more than what u pay. Lots of history happened in this building. Sam Phillips was a smart man.
