  • This park was wonderful and very interesting. It is located down by the zoo and the art college. This park has all the normal equipment such as slides and swings; but it also had many other interesting pieces such as a big rope bridge with rope climbing nets to get up to it. My older kids really enjoyed the challenge of climbing it. There was also a giant fake, hallow tree truck that had big blocks that you could stack up in it. There was also a pond with a trail around it so that you could take a nice little walk. The park overall was pretty shaded. It was a great place to get out and stretch our legs before continuing on with our travels
  • My 4 Grandchildren loved it! There was never a dull moment! We all had fun and we plan on going back! I would recommend this place to anyone who has children!!
  • I love going to this park. I just wish that everyone would leave off of the reviews, he stuff about the save the greensward. It is just making people not want to support the park or the zoo. Why not just try and help beautify the rest of the city, this city had a great history, before we allowed it to go down the crapper , by not giving two cents. I think that if we all took maybe two or three weekends out of the year, then we would be able to change the rest of the city into what it looks like near the Overton Park area and in the nicer Midtown area. I belive that we can change this if we all come together instead of fighting against each other and getting nowhere. This park is beautiful and entirely kid friendly. There a running areas for those who like to go for a quick jog through the park. Right after it rains and the sun is just starting to peek out the clouds, is the perfect time for me to go. You smell so many more great smells, during this time, it is as if you are out in the wilderness.
  • I love how spacious this place is. There's a trail that leads to and from the parkway and poplar playground areas of the park. Perfect place for kids, working out, or even a quaint picnic date or family outing.
  • So much fun! Educational shows for kids, petting zoo, plus $2.00 for the sting say feeding which my kids didn't want to leave! Fountains and wading pools to cool off in, great family fun!
