  • Overton Park is located in the heart of Memphis and is surrounded by a Zoo, and a historic district of Midtown. I visited the park like daytime running, at night I would not stop me - to do this, there are a few rumors and facts... like oftwo in Memphis.

  • Overton park is a wonderful destination. I found the grounds to be immaculate and they were beautifully landscaped and designed. There are several points of interest in the park. The entrance itself w...  more »

  • The playground is fantastic.. My son likes to wander, and he's fast. The playground and dog area are both completely enclosed. One way in, one way out. The dog area is great. Has a hose if your fur baby gets dirty and separate areas for small and large dogs. It also has a two-door entrance. Which is something I didn't realize was awesome until I saw it. Area is kept clean. Nice bathrooms, walking distance from the Zoo. 9-Hole golf course and plenty of open area. Wooded trail and plenty of parking. It's a local favorite.
  • A fantastic place to go and enjoy a good walk and take in the scenery. This place is very well kept. An awesome place to take your dog for a good walk. They even have a small dog park as well if you would like to cut your dog lose to play with other dogs.
  • Don't travel through the forest. Really creep guy in what seemed to be in his 40s followed me and girlfriend with a rag in back pocket acting really nervously. He was walking in the opposite direct then lag behind us while looking around trees. The rest of the park was good in the public areas and concrete trails.
  • Great place to bring your kids and or the extended family for activities or family functions. My girls love it every time we go and look forward to it. Could use a few more things to do but other than that, it's your average park. Never had any problems.
  • Always love going here. Great for general outdoor activity. They also host a number of events and festivals through the year.
