The museum is open to the public Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sudays. Admission for adults is $3.00, for children under 12 it is $1.00 and chlidren 3 and under are admitted free.

The Memphis Railroad & Trolley Museum is located at 545 South Main Street on the ground floor of the Central Station in Memphis, Tennessee, USA. The museum is dedicated to document the local history of Railroad and the Memphis Trolleys. The museum provides static exhibits as well as video documentation and railroad model diaoramas

  • Small but really well done Museum, full of relics and information. The caretaker is a fan and is very friendly and willing to answer any questions. Books are available for purchase!

  • The rail and trolley museum is a fascinating stop on Main Street for train lovers. Kids really appreciate the model trains and they have a space for parties.

  • Small and simple museum. The fee is low, so well worth your time. Engage one of the volunteers, they know a lot of wonderful history and local stories.
  • This was an interesting sight into the old railroad system and how railroads work. This is located very close to Memphis Central Station, so it was also fun to see that.
