  • This is a really great farmers market! There are lot of things to select from. Usually there is live music and food trucks. Make sure that you haggle some.
  • absolutely wonderful place to go on a Saturday. The produce and other select food options are amazing. Be sure to get there early because a lot of places sell out quickly.
  • It's not what it used to be. We knew when they built the addition to the pavilion, things would go downhill. That's exactly what happened. At the Memphis Farmer's market, there are still several vendors we return for, but most of the booths are crafts or "value-added" items like sauces and breads and...junk. Many of the "farmers" are just re-sellers who buy their produce at a wholesaler and bring it to the market. A more carefully curated group of vendors would benefit everyone.
  • A wonderful Saturday morning spot in downtown Memphis. It's a great place to just watch people, pick up some produce, and make sure to visit the Fuel food truck: it's delicious! Also, if you forget cash, they have an ATM on site.
  • Small farmers market with potential. There's flowers, baked goods, soaps, and handmade wood items. Unfortunately, vendors price their wares well beyond the financial reach of the majority of Memphis residents.
