One of Florida's most popular parks, Sebastian Inlet State Recreation Area offers a wealth of opportunities to enjoy nature. Home to a National Register of Historic Places site where Spanish ships wrecked in 1715, the park features a museum displaying objects and artifacts from the fleet. You can snorkel, dive, or swim here, with numerous facilities providing equipment for ocean activities. The area is renowned for its saltwater fishing. The 4.8 km (3 mi) long beach features a trail and picnicking areas. Although camping is permitted, you'll need to reserve a place ahead of time.   • This is one of my go to spots when out of town guests are visiting. The park allows kayaking and has a long pier for viewing the inlet and marine life. 
  • The walking trails were OK, but nothing exceptional. We found other walking trails that were longer and had a larger variety of natural areas. It was a free walk, and that's always nice. If we go back...  more »
  • What a great place to visit by the beach or to take a walk down the pier. Also there is a place to eat and enjoy the views.
