One of Florida's most popular parks, Sebastian Inlet State Recreation Area offers a wealth of opportunities to enjoy nature. Home to a National Register of Historic Places site where Spanish ships wrecked in 1715, the park features a museum displaying objects and artifacts from the fleet. You can snorkel, dive, or swim here, with numerous facilities providing equipment for ocean activities. The area is renowned for its saltwater fishing. The 4.8 km (3 mi) long beach features a trail and picnicking areas. Although camping is permitted, you'll need to reserve a place ahead of time.
