  • You can get your British fix here!, I enjoy the black pudding and the birds eye custard in addition to all the sweets that help being back fond memories as a child.  more »
  • This would be a great place to get a gift for someone. So many options that are oh so British. You can even buy tea bags individually here. Julie is kind and informative.  more »
  • My daughter-In-law is from New Zealand and loves her tea, as do I. She loves and uses loose tea leaves and the availability here is wonderful! The next time we get together I'm taking her shopping her...  more »

  • Julie is amazing! Clean and well organized store. If she doesn't have something, she is more than willing to order what you want or need. I drive a 90 mile roundtrip just to get our Brit Fix! Thanks Julie!!
  • This shop is wonderful and amazing! I am always in amazement when I step inside, it's like being transported to another world filled with colour and unusually fantastic items. The staff are friendly and willing to help you out and answer any questions you may have about the store, the area, or England. The tea tastings they have on Saturdays are a fun idea!
  • I recently moved to the area and had been wanting to visit this store for a few weeks. We finally got a chance to go, and it was an absolutely horrible experience. I visited with my husband and three children, and the shopkeeper (I believe it was Julie, the owner, from what Ive heard from others), was horrible to me. The entire time I was in the store, she watched me like a hawk, hardly ever taking her eyes off me. If I stepped behind a shelf or display, she came out from behind the counter over to me and would just stand next to me and stare. I should note, there was in no way anything about me that would (to a normal, decent him being) indicate I would shoplift. I had no purse/bag on me, and was wearing short jean shorts and a tank top (not cargo shorts or anything like that). I gave her a friendly greeting as we all walked in,she responded with a stern look. I watched as several other customers came and went while we were there. She was friendly and talkative to all of them, plus continued keeping an eye on me as she held conversations with them. I told my husband I felt she was following/watching me and at first he thought I was exaggerating, so he moved to the other side of the store (away from me). He stood there for a while and confirmed she was definitely watching me intently. I asked her questions about a couple products and she responded gruffly. I was checking out a book on display in front of the counter and she impatiently rapped her fingernails on the counter as I stood there. The same book another couple had just looked at right before me, and she struck up a pleasant conversation with them about it! She was very short with me as I checked out, even though the people immediately before me were given sweet smiles and "thank you's". She barely spoke other than giving me the price and "receipt's in bag" as she shoved my receipt in my bag and thrust the bag across the counter toward me. We went back about half hour later, and asked (politely) if there was something I had done to offend her and why she was watching me, hoping for an apology or explanation. Instead, she immediately grew furious and demanded we leave, so we never got to the bottom of what was going on. I felt extremely uncomfortable in this store and will definitely never return, which is very sad to me because I had been so excited about it.
  • Nice store with very miserable and unhelpful staff. Store is stocked nicely with lots of great items from the UK but staff doesn't seem to care if you buy anything or not, i would be very concerned if i was the owner. Might want to teach the staff on greetings and product show casing. Hopefully i'll have a better experience next time.
  • Delightful every visit. Plenty of excellent snacks and teas.
