  • This place is really great for kids, they have hay rides, a fishing pond and pick your own fruit in the summer!
  • Cute place, even for grown-up kids like my group! We poked around the stores, enjoyed the Amish ice cream, and checked out the animals. The chickens are kind of aggressive; there were a few poor birds...  read more »
  • It's "agri-tourism" run amok, but that's okay. You can't find produce that's fresher than when you pick it. Overall, the quality of the produce is really good, although your cousin's brother-in-law wh...  read more »
  • Cool place. Delicious food and baked goods. Great fruits. Lots of animals to see and feed. A little pricey but worth a visit.
  • I only gave them a 3 star rating because as the category suggests it is okay, not really a place I liked or a place I disliked. My less than like attitude is based on the fact that I think they are a little overpriced but that could be the nature of the business since most of my fresh produce is bought a roadside stands with honor boxes where some one else has already picked it for me and are only charging about half of what it would cost me to pick my own. I guess the fact that the kids had a good time is worth the extra but just be prepared if God has blessed you with a lot of kids to spend a little more than what you might expect but as many others like to use this expression to justify out of control spending in the political realm I too will use it for this, "It's for the kids".
  • Linvilla is a year round attraction for our family, and if your children love animals they have a good selection. (Bring a head of romaine lettuce for goats and cows) take a gallon of their apple cider for the road, you won't be disappointed. Try their pumpkin pie funnel cakes in the fall. Also apple cider donuts for work or home are a tasty treat. They have an amazing selection of locally sourced jams/jellies/honey/sauce.
  • I love this place. My girlfriends and I use it a middle meeting place to hang out, be outside, and pick healthy treats. The strawberries are always amazing. The peaches are wonderful. I've had some of the best eggplant from here. Apple season can get pretty over crowded, but there are actives, food, and trees that keep everyone spread out.
  • Linvilla Orchards is one of the best family friendly spots in Delaware County! From the market and garden center for your fruit and flower needs to the playground, trains, pony rides, animal feeding and pick your own fruits and vegetables, plus seasonal activities like Pumpkinland and Cut Your Own Christmas Trees, they always have something for everyone. We like to go on slow days because our kids love to run around on the playground. It's fenced in and has two areas depending on the ages of the kids, so parents can play with them or have a seat on the bench and let them run themselves tired. The market has plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a bakery in the back. Make sure to try the apple cider donuts, they're awesome! While you're there, pick up a bag of animal feed and go back outside to feed the deer, horses, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. There's a snack bar for your own nutritional needs, too. By far, my favorite part of the farm is the fishing pond. They have a catch and release program, no license needed. It's a stocked pond, so if you're bringing first time fishermen (or women!) they are almost certain to catch something. The Pick Your Own section is also really nice. You get to go in the fields and select your favorite fruits and vegetables. During apple season in the fall you can couple this with a trip to Pumpkinland for a full day of activities. We make regular trips out there, the kids love it, my wife loves the prices in the market and I enjoy getting outside for awhile. Oh, and I'm told that in the last few weeks, there have been a TON of Pokemon Go all over the place. So, if your surly teen gripes, tell him he may find a rare pokemon =]
