It is part of the Bloomsburg - Berwick Micropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, Mechanicsville was not listed as a CDP or as any populated place.HistoryMechanicsville was originally settled by workmen. The Bloomsburg Trolley Line passed through Mechanicsville. A silk mill was built in the community in 1911.GeographyMechanicsville is located at .
