  • Although we have gone here for several years and consider it a family tradition, this year we would like to include our new rescue as a part of our tradition. We don't want to leave him home alone, wh...  read more »

  • My husband and I have been stopping at your McCullom Lake Road stand at least once a week, every season for years. Where the transactions are never particularly personable, I've never had a complaint, and have always been satisfied with my freshly purchased produce. Today was a different story. I stopped around 5pm, joining maybe another dozen customers and picked out 4 peaches and 2 tomatoes. I was the first to get to the register and shared pleasantries with the cashier. We had a friendly exchange about the size of my tomato, and how she agreed with my taste for a B.L.T.. My total came to $8.15, I gave her $9. After retrieving the change from the drawer, she very briefly second guessed herself. Looking up at me she said, "I'm sorry, it's because you had your hand out, that's rude, I'm sorry". While I appreciate the sandwiching of my insult between two apologies...... Your customer service representative called a paying customer rude. I was in no way pressuring her, as I said, everything up to that point was status quo, if not better. I was just trying to get my change and make way for the next customer. I can understand her sentiments having grown up with a Debutante Grandmother, but a place of business is not a venue to issue etiquette advise. Where I may continue to venture out to The Farm for Harvest, my stops at the roadside have come to an end.
  • This is a an excellent place for strawberry picking. We found the best strawberries here. The farm also sells strawberry donuts which are so delicious. There is a huge play area for kids. You can easily spend an entire day if you come with your family.
  • Some produce is very pricey, some normal. Wonder why. I will just not buy that. But I definitely like to pick my own peas, beans. Donuts are great.
  • Beautiful experience. Fruits and vegetables have an incredible taste and aroma of real organic products. Loved the old fashion style too. Highly recommend.
