EAT Gallery, Maysville

#3 of 6 in Things to do in Maysville
Art Gallery · Hidden Gem · Gift & Specialty Shop
EAT Gallery opened its doors during the 2006 Rosemary Clooney Festival and has become a destination store for Maysville residents and visitors alike. The gallery showcases unique hand crafted jewelry by artisans from around the world displayed alongside mineral specimens, natural stone carvings, framed butterflies, local art and a host of other treasures that celebrate the wonders of nature and earth.

Longtime Maysville residents know the building used to be the home of Morgan’s diner. When Simon first visited Maysville in 1991, the first place he was taken was Morgan’s and the diner left an indelible impression. The iconic neon “EAT” sign on the front of the building was refurbished to help preserve the history of downtown and was the inspiration for the gallery’s name Exquisite Art Treasures.

  • Such a fun shopping experience. I highly recommend.
  • We visit this wonderful gallery yearly and it is a destination in itself. We love the selection of art they offer and we usually purchase a piece or two. The hard part is deciding what we like for our home the staff are always very friendly and helpful and we learn so much about the art and artists they offer.
  • First time I walked by the gallery, because the large EAT sign was visible down the block, I expected a new restaurant in town. What a surprise, a beautiful surprise! When we ventured into the shop it seemed to be a museum of art from nature and out of our price range. But we were drawn back in as actual customers when my husband picked out a special Christmas gift for me...Kentucky agate earrings in greys and oranges. Very unique and I wear them often now. Thanks for being here and adding to the charm and quality of downtown Maysville.
  • The owner was very courteous and forthcoming when asked questions regarding various pieces. It's an overall lovely gallery that has very unique geodes and crystal art, and I'm glad I happened upon it.
  • I can not say enough good things working with about Laurie and Simon Watt to design my wedding ring. They are they incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and I am absolutely in love the ring we came up with. I take it out of it's hiding place and stare at it all the time because it is so beautiful! I can't wait to wear it. It was so much fun working with them and I would highly recommend them and EAT Gallery to anyone looking for beautiful, unique jewelry.
