  • Walked in and owner barked "outside food to the picnic area!". Must have forgotten "Hello, welcome to North Mountain."

  • I moved to the Shenandoah Valley 3 years ago, and have enjoyed visiting many wineries in the area. North Mountain is a favorite; nice wines, nice view, knowledgeable and tastefully attentive staff, great live music! One of the first places I take my guests.
  • Love it here. The owner is Bavarian, the wine is unique and excelleny, the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing. We come here over and over. The staff is super knowledgabe about wines and VA history. It's a mini vacation.
  • Beautiful location, tasty wines for every palette and a staff that is friendly and attentive. Two girls for a day out enjoyed ourselves immensely and will definitely be back!
  • Great wines, knowledgeable staff and homey feel with an amazing view
  • Nice winery. The wines were goods and there was some variety. The person in the tasting room was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The setting is lovely and there is a lot of seating inside or on the porch or even on the lawn. They were very willing to let people explore the grounds. All around a great experience.
