  • The side cut Metropark is a great place for jogging and other outdoor activities. I haven't find a better one near Maumee. The facilities for barbecue or picnic look also good.

  • What a great find while working in the Toledo area. The trails are beautiful and full of wildlife. It was so relaxing to just sit along side the Maumee River and enjoy the scenery.
  • My dog loves this park. We go there a lot. Long trails and beautiful scenery
  • Another great gem of the Toledo Metropark. Following the flood of last year the park paved a new trail that now connects this park to the Fallen Timbers park. So now walking, running or biking you can go from Fort Meigs to Side Cut to Fallen Timbers without having to be on the road. And as Fallen Timbers connect to the Wabash Cannonball you have more than 30 miles of paved trail with minimum road and traffic disturbance. How about that bikers!!
  • I grew up in Toledo and Side Cut Metro Park was a staple growing up. Now I get to take my kids there and the park only continues to improve. Between the snow hill, the locks, the paths, the river, the playground and now even archery, the metro park offers more than ever. It is a great place to take family and friends and is perfect for a daily outing
  • It's nice to be able to walk along the shore. Saw lots of Wildlife. The river was so far down I was able to walk across to Blue Grass Island.
