  • This park has the best variety in the area! Shady and sunny areas, gravel paths and cement, hilly areas and flat fields, wooded/riverside areas, walk out into the river, fish in the river or in Silver Lake. There is a place to build a fire, cook out, sled, canoe/kayak, picnic, or view nature at the window on wildlife. More private grass trails can also be found. Oh, I didnt mention the awesome playground for the kiddos near the clean and functional restrooms. Its worth stopping by, trust me, we've been to ALL the area parks with our five children and this park has something for every one of us!
  • This is one of our favorite parks! We almost always see deer, and the trails are great for biking or walking. Our kids love the shaded playground that's perfect for got summer days!
  • Lots of room for kids to run! With the river close, the playground and all the extra room...this is a perfect park! My family goes at least once a week...we love it!
  • One of the area's treasures. They offer activities for children and adults, that I did not know about. They will teach you about basic archery, canoeing, and teach you some things on a nature walk.
  • I love this park!! So many beautiful views all around. We had our boys' birthdays parties here last year and everyone was just as impressed as we were! We had changed locations to this place after our very first visit! The kids love it!
