  • The side cut Metropark is a great place for jogging and other outdoor activities. I haven't find a better one near Maumee. The facilities for barbecue or picnic look also good.

  • One of the prettiest parks in the system. It's also the launching point for many cyclists heading west to the quieter roads in the county as well as the WC Trail.
  • We stumbled onto these trails! Gorgeous views of the river and stream. Not crowded. Paths clear. Even saw a doe and her baby!
  • Incredible playground, nice hike/bike path, looks like tons of winter fun with a sled hill and fire pit.
  • Side Cut is a great park area. Most people go to the main pavilion that has wide open areas with picnic tables. But there are other parts to the park with fewer people, different landscapes. Great place to get away. Clean, well-kept - hope it stays that way!
  • This park is great for watching or taking pictures of various birds wading in the water catching fish. The trails are paved and easy to walk. There is a nice playground for kids and a nice area for picnics
