  • Amazing natural salt water pools right on the oceans edge. Getting to the pools involves climbing down a very steep rocky hill, which of course you have to climb back up. Some of the pools are 10 to 1...  more »
  • Queen's Bath on Kauai may be a little better as a place to hang out (for one thing you can't jump in here), but this is pretty cool. Much of the pools are actually shallow water with submerged shelves...  more »
  • We got to the pools at 9am an we were the only ones there. My kids (5&6) year olds enjoyed Jumpn in the clear clean pools! We all wore water shoes so it helped. There's a blow hole next to the pools. ...  more »

  • Loved the polls water is very salty and looks like a bunch of little fish tanks in all the holes around the pools
  • Loved it. Had 3 kids (3, 5, 8) which I carried each thru some spots. Many paths, choose wisely. Several pools, half slick rocks in pools, go slowly. Stay away from edge at bottom, should be obvious but it's tempting to get close. Lots of little fish, some crabs. Wear shoes. Go east on the highway after ONLY if you know what you're doing and enjoy 1 lane rd with no shoulder or guardrail/barrier.
  • Heed the warnings from other reviews about shoes for climbing down and back out. The rocks in the pools are really slick as well. Pretty cool to see up close. Don't bother continue driving the road north from here, it's mostly one lane and super windy. Turn around and head back south
  • So much fun. Great pools. Decent hike down to them so plan on some exercise but it is worth it.
  • Bit of a hike... The road is a fun adventure of a drive. The pools are surreal, tranquil and perched on the edge of the mighty Pacific ocean. So don't be stupid. Check the tide charts. Low tide is best. A big high tide and you might find you'd self in trouble. Watch the surf. If it's big be smart. Last little bit of helpful warning. Don't poke around the really cool olivine encrusted rocks to much. Teh ones that look like they are full of holes make great critter homes. (Sometimes really angry critters with wings and stingers...)
