  • This was our second visit to Pickety Place. (Try saying Pickety Place without smiling!) It's a bit off the beaten path but that is part of its charm! Nestled in the Mason NH woods, your visit starts w...  more »

  • Lunch at Pickety Place was very good, we had a good day walking around the gardens and shopping in the store. The grounds are beautiful.

  • I can understand why many people complain about the portion sizes, it's because the food is so so so so good, you just want more. If we as Americans had a better concept of a portion, there would be NO complaints. Everything from the cheese spread, to the homemade bread, the fresh cold salad, the amazing lavender lemonade (which yes, I did purchase and made at home as well) (hint, a shot of pineapple vodka in it rocks!) The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, and I ate it very slow, I wanted to savor every bite and make it last just a little longer. My daughter and I now have a standing monthly date here, I can't wait to try next months menu. And I've even made a second reservation in September so I could bring my boyfriend to try. (I'll make sure he has a good breakfast first) The seating situation is a bit strange where they parade out the trays like you're on a cruise ship was a bit weird, and they do like to turn those tables for the next seating, so it's not someplace you hang out and relax in the dinning rooms. You can hang out and relax in the gardens, and there are some beautiful herbs, and flowering plants to look at. Also note they do not serve any alcohol here, but you can bring in a bottle of wine if you choose.
  • Beautiful gardens and absolutely fragrant walks to have. The interior store is filled with herbs, spices and apothecary items. It's fun to browse and I stocked up on all my herbs for the year. I love cooking with their spice cake mix. It's the secret to many of my baked goods. When I can't get here in person I'm always ordering online.
  • This was my first time to Pickity Place. I thought there were several issues. First of all the 1245 reservation does not actually happen at that time. We were quite delayed in going in and it was very hot outside today. When we did get seated there was a very small container of dip on the table for 4 people. It was not cold, it was warm. It is served with Pepperidge Farm crackers which were just OK.....for 4 people there really should have been 2 containers of dip. As soon as you sit down they come and take your drink order. They have a very limited selection. There is no unsweetened tea available. Very quickly they brought a cold cantaloupe soup which was also not cold enough. It came with one and only one tiny piece of pancetta. Quickly after that you are served a potato salad and then quickly again 4 pieces of bread with not enough herb butter. Everything happens very quickly. You really feel rushed. Then the oddest thing was the beef turned out to be a very large ravioli with a cold cob of corn. Very strange. Then dessert was a warm piece of key lime pie with rum bananas. The meal was very unremarkable. I am not sure I will return.
  • Cozy!!! Quality food. A great herb garden. Cute little shop. Recommend the lavender lemonade. A very enjoyable afternoon.
  • Such a cute genuine and perfect place. Food was amazing and I cannot wait to go back and try next month's menu.
