  • The incredibly tasty but very reasonably priced food, the beautiful flower and herb garden, and the history of the house make Pickity Place one of a kind. The only things you have to be mindful of are making a reservation ahead of time (if you have your heart set on a date and time, call two weeks ahead) and calling to make sure the road right before you get to Pickity Place is drivable for your car because it's not paved for a stretch. If it's very wet and muddy, my car wouldn't do very well there. It's rarely a problem (usually only when the snow is melting) and it's well worth the visit!
  • I recently had a wonderful lunch with my mother. The grounds are beautiful, service was delightful, and the food was delicious. We used to come here when I was a girl for lunch when we had visitors, I have wonderful memories of exploring the gardens with my friends and of my grandmother explaining about the different herbs and flowers. My parents are leaving New England, (I left many years ago) and I was up visiting to help pack up. I am so glad that I thought to come to Pickity Place one last time. It truly is a gem.
  • Absolutely loved it. The place is so quaint and the food is just fantastic. Reasonably priced for all you get. Unique foods to try, I'll be back often. They have a loyalty card for that too where you can get a free lunch!
  • Small but flavorful food, vegetarian-friendly (meat option for an entree). Definitely worth driving a bit out of your way for. Make sure to check out their greenhouse as well!
  • Loved it. Great food. You will feel like you are at your Grandmas house. Just a little far from downtown Boston and preset menu.
