  • Great for the younger crowd though they do have some puzzles to delight the young at heart. After the first time there is realized I needed to be a member. I walk in and know the kids will be safe and entertained with wholesome fun.
  • First - the name of Cape Cod Children's Museum is a bit misleading. This is not a museum, it's an interactive play place. Because of the name, I actually didn't try to learn more about this location until friends and family wanted to take their children to it. Note to owner - we all thought it was a museum (which, as the dictionary states, "is a place or building where objects of historical, artistic, or scientific interest are exhibited, preserved, or studied.") We were pleasantly surprised to find out it's an interactive play place, which allows kids to "learn" about science elements such as sound, weight, air pressure and more. There are several stations as you can see in their excellent "See Inside" view. To check that out, go to Google Maps and drop the PinMan directly on their building or simply click "See Inside" on the images. Inside the location are fun, easy to play with stations that give kids the opportunity to climb a pirate style ship, use air to make balls hover, play music and more. There are also a few rooms off the side which hold fun, interactive sessions lead by friendly staff. Overall, this is a great play place for kids. It's not large, but it will keep your children entertained, has AC (important during the summer!), and they may learn something fun! Pro tip - it can get pretty busy here, and with this comes the usual issue of big kids running over little kids to play with the stations/exhibits. I suggest going right at opening time, or off hours. Call ahead if during a week day to see if there are good times to come.
  • we went here on a rainy day while on the Cape. Kind of a spur of the moment idea. Needless to say our 2 year old loved running around, playing and exploring. Unlike a park, there was plenty to look at and explore as an adult too. Worth the visit when the weather doesn't cooperate.
  • Absolutely adorable and wonderful for kids 0-100 :)
  • It's a good place for kids to play, but I don't think it's worth $8 per person
