  • We originally went to Hermann, MO for their German Oktoberfest which last about 4 weekends. While there, they were offering wine tours. We decided to try this one and drove a bit out of Herman to Mart...  more »
  • It's a lovely location, but Jennifer made our tasting experience excellent. She was friendly and outgoing and seemed so happy to have the job. What an asset to the business. The wine was good too. The...  more »
  • This was the only winery we visited in the area and it was a good choice. I prefer drier wines than poured here, but you grow what the climate permits. The lady pouring was very knowledgable about the...  more »

  • Very nice variety of wines. Whistle Stop red and white are standouts. Beautiful landscape
  • The wines here are quite delicious. My favorite was the Raspberry. I also enjoyed a glass of Sangria, which separates Lost Creek from some of the other wineries as that is not offered everywhere. The land and view were pretty stellar, beckoning one to sit and relax as long as needed on the porch. Lost Creek is not huge or generally set up to accommodate a large amount of people but that is one of the great things about it. It's cozy and charming. One of the best parts of the experience here was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful; our group of ladies felt like we were old friends with the people running the place. And that, above all else, is reason enough to return over and over.
  • Loved the pumpkin throwing! The bunch running the place are a great laugh!
  • We biked on the Katy Trail from Defiance to Lost Creek Vineyard last Friday. The owners Larry and Tom treated us like family! The wine is superb and reasonable and the view is awesome! I recommend the Winery to all. Don't miss this one.
  • EXCELLENT wines! Family owned and run. Excellent varieties of dry and sweet wines (we love their dry wines). View off the back porch of their tasting room is sublime and relaxing. Wines at Lost Creek are BETTER than those in Herman.
