  • This is a great little center. They have picnic tables spread around outside in different areas right off the parking lot and near the center. They have a sand table inside for the kids to play with and footprints to make impressions in the sand. They have a nice little stuffed animal area too and live snakes. A few other little things to see. You can get a map there for the area. We went to see the upper falls and did the easy 1/4 mile hike. Nice hike for little kids, but not much to see waterfall wise. The only knock to this place was the bathrooms, not kept up too much, but we did go on an "event" day so there may have been alot more traffic than usual.
  • Nice center that offers stuffed and live specimens of what animals can be found in the park. Small center, and can feel a bit overwhelming when crowded. They have snacks and drinks available for purchase, plus a water fountain. Clean restrooms. They have a small auditorium with occasional nature talks. Staff is happy to help, even assisted us in finding a cafe to have lunch upon leaving the park. Parking lot is big enough for the crowd and located by trails.
  • Great exhibits, very clean, and they have scheduled learning activities. The entire family likes this place.
  • Informative displays and advice on what to see and experience in the Monongahela National Forest. Many bird species are present here for the birdwatchers or the curious.
