  • Crisp October day, friends, a cheese, meat and grape plate, and some great wine, made for a great afternoon. There were three bridal/hen groups for semi- private sampling (i.e. They got their own sect...  more »
  • This is the only winery I have ever visited where the staff had no idea about the wines, grapes or process. It was as if the pourer was a recent hire.. Skip this vineyard...wine was barely drinkable .
  • With a name like Naked, and a slogan that suggests that you "drink naked", you can be assured that Naked Winery is a fun place to be. The staff is very upbeat and fun, as are the other customers. The ...  more »

  • I have to say that I have been to many, many wineries. I have experienced many different kinds of wine, and many different people at these wineries. I have found no one more knowledgeable, pleasant and deserving of a rave review than Laura of Naked Mountain Winery and Vineyards. We had spent an entire weekend of visiting wineries and friendly banter with the owners and employees. You would be surprised at the general lack of knowledge that some of these places showed. I'll be honest, the actual wine at this particular location wasn't our favorite, but Laura made us want to stay. We ended up buying several bottles of wine and ordering food just because of how much Laura added to the experience. The winery is also dog friendly which we LOVED. We have every intention of returning to this winery and will call ahead to make sure that Laura is there. Many thanks Laura, and we hope that Naked realizes what an asset they have with you as an employee.
  • Wines are great, with a good variety and nice food options. The view is one of the best and the people here are absolutely wonderful. This continues to be our favorite winery to visit when we need to get away from DC for a little while!
  • Nice people. Picnic tables available. The road to get there is very narrow.
  • After being treated rudely at Delaplane Cellars and they have absolutely NO parking we came to Naked Mountain and had a nice afternoon. Great customer service and enjoyed my wine.
  • The wines are not that great. Nothing was impressive at all, there are so many great wineries in the area and this one does not even come close. I'm not sure why there are so many good reviews on google. Also, to get into the winery you have to drive in on a windy, raised path that only fits one car. So if a car is approaching from the opposite direction, you have to stop and back up, hoping that your car will not fall off the hill and tumble below. We were shocked driving in to find such dangerous conditions, and really wondered why anyone would come back a second time. I think this winery is selling the ambiance of the facility (which smells really funky when you walk in) and the views, and not really great wine itself.
