  • A wonderful place to learn more about specimen such as gold and silver and iron and gemstones
  • Great little museum, you could spend hours to see it all. local history, mining history and what it was like to be in the gold rush. Indoor and outdoor displays. Also just a few miles to the state mining museum, I would suggest you should see both when you are in the area.
  • Quaint museum describing the gold rush days of Mariposa about 150 years ago. It is relatively small but full of goodies for anyone interested in history. Don't forget the outside exhibits and support the museum with its nominal admission fee.
  • Small town museum
