Lucky Strike is a beautiful place to come and pan for gold and mine for gems . Or enjoy Bonanza Burger and sluice juice (sweet tea) from the Miners Diner . This is a family owned and operated campground opened in 1991 by Doug and LIz Mccormick .

  • Quaint little place. We had never panned for gold before so thought we would give it a try. Roger was very helpful in teaching us the correct technique. Very friendly staff.
