Lucky Strike is a beautiful place to come and pan for gold and mine for gems . Or enjoy Bonanza Burger and sluice juice (sweet tea) from the Miners Diner . This is a family owned and operated campground opened in 1991 by Doug and LIz Mccormick .

    The grandchildren 7 and 10 enjoyed panning for gold and gems. The guide was very helpful helping in showing and training us how to look for the gold. Gem mining is much easier and goes faster then gol...  more »
