  • It's not a bad trail. It's a little under 25 miles round trip, and there's only one trailhead spot, so it's easy to figure out where to pick it up. It's probably the flattest and straightest trail I've been on. There's a fairy garden, so that's pretty freaking sweet. I give it high scores for how easy it is to ride, but there are definitely more scenically interesting trails out there.
  • Great place to go for a walk or a bike ride. Nice picnic area. small playground for children was a little disappointed in that only came across one porta potty. Nice picnic area for rent. also liked the information signs along the trail describing different trees and plants, the stories to read the kids along the way was also fun
  • Hike or bicycle, either is a great way to experience the trail. The cyclist can cover the entire trail - 12.4 miles or 24.8 round-trip. The casual walker can get in a couple of miles and see some great scenery and possibly some wildlife. It has never been busy during any of my visits. It is a paved trails to trails trail. It is arrow- straight and relatively level. For the cyclist, there are some spots where tree roots have "wrinkled" the pavement - but it is still easy going. Bring your camera.
  • Ample parking, shelter area clean with plenty of trash cans and a playground. A portable toilet was clean with paper and hand sanitizer. The trail is absolutely beautiful! A wonderful place for every age group to enjoy whether you walk it or cycle it.
  • Its hard to believe, but on this trail you can transverse this flat farm country on this trail under nearly a continuous canopy of shade. However you travel this trail, when you stop, you are swarmed with mosquitoes. This was puzzling to me, as it was a very dry time of year and I was outside of the swampy areas. It was like that all over Marion County, mosquitoes everywhere.
