The park has approximately a half mile (800 m) of St. Clair River frontage, making viewing of international freighters a major attraction.EcologyApproximately 83% of the park's area is undeveloped. This undeveloped portion of the park encompasses significant lakeplain prairie and oak openings (savannas), which have been described as unique natural environments in Michigan.     Great park. Lots of camp sights. A terrific view of the river and passing boats and freighters. No pool, but the beach access is nice.

    Barges are fun to watch! Park is amazingly kept up!! Workers are all super nice and helpful!!

    Pretty unimpressive park. Fair amount of camping. Did see a wild turkey and it's babies though.

    The view is wonderful and so much to do! Close to town, shopping and friendly people.

    Pretty good trails for walking the dogs or just to get out. There is a trap and archery range, hunting permitted in season, camp grounds etc.
