#1 of 18 in Casinos in Arizona
Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino Resort is a casino and resort located 39 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona near Maricopa, Arizona. It is owned by the Ak-Chin Indian Community and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation. The 40,000-square-foot casino has video poker and slot machines, as well as blackjack, keno and bingo, and is open 24 hours a day. In July 2011, the casino underwent a $20 million expansion with the addition of a new 152-room hotel tower. The resort now has 300 rooms, and an outdoor swimming pool with swim up bar, which was completed in 2012. The resort also features five restaurants, an entertainment venue, meeting and conference space and the only Bingo hall in the Caesars organization, which continues the proud heritage of William F. Harrah, who opened his first Bingo hall in Reno in 1937.

  • Diamond lounge needs a major change for what you offer . Not worth the time to go into for a bowl of chips. You have to purchase your own beverage. And you get 1 appetizer which was just ok  more »
  • Save your money. Played 1000.00 did not get a bonus or a jackpot. Everyone around us was in the slot zone. Betting high wagers with no payouts. Take the kids to Disneyland.  more »

  • I went there to visit the casino and the carnival they had going on. The carnival was nice, but crowded. The lines were long. In the concert area, they had lots of space for lawn seats, plus chairs already set up and outside heaters. The sound was nice. I'll definitely go back for future events. The Casino itself was less impressive. The ventilation was poor and the smoke was pretty overwhelming for a non smoker like myself. The "smoke free" section was in the middle of two smoking areas, separated by open doorways. You had to walk thru the smoking sections to access the smoke free area. It was kinda gross. I'll probably check out other casinos in the area to see if this is the same everywhere. I'd rather drive farther and avoid the asthma attack.
  • Me and my mother and my daughter all went there to eat the buffet for Christmas Eve and afterwards me and my mother did a little gambling. The food was good especially the mac and cheese! Overall they had a good selection of food ranging from main course to desserts. My only complaint about the casino part was that there was smoking. They have a non-smoking section but it was still unpleasant to have to walk through it just to get to the non-smoking area. I played some Blackjack and I'm not sure if there was smoking there; if there was I didn't notice due to them being further away from the tables. There's still more to experience at AK Chin so I'll be revisiting to explore what else they have available. Overall it was good experience and would recommend to others in future
  • Was extremely satisfied with every aspect of Harrah's. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. The hotel accommodations were terrific and reasonably priced. Finally the casino is very entertaining because they have a large selection of games of every variety to choose from. I would rate my experience there 5 stars and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
  • I always enjoyed going to this local hotspot it was fun and close but on Veterans Day they upgraded all veterans to Platinum cards and platinum benefits on the pamphlet at the time did not say that our Platinum cards would expire at the end of 2017. I am editing this review and the score because I got a hold of someone at the casino and they fix the issue so if you have a platinum Veteran's card go and see them the bugs are worked out and it will be good for 2018 as well
  • I love this place. It’s an hour drive for me, much farther than the others, but it’s worth it. Gambling always steady and fair, an they have great rewards card benefits. Hotel rooms are great as well as amenities such as the pool area and restaurants. What makes this place so special though is there staff, so friendly and accommodating. Hayley, who works at the front desk is an absolute pleasure. Her smile and vibrant personality welcomes you upon your arrival. I travel a lot and don’t come across people so committed to guest satisfaction, she’s the best
