Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino Resort is a casino and resort located 39 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona near Maricopa, Arizona. It is owned by the Ak-Chin Indian Community and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation. The 40,000-square-foot casino has video poker and slot machines, as well as blackjack, keno and bingo, and is open 24 hours a day. In July 2011, the casino underwent a $20 million expansion with the addition of a new 152-room hotel tower. The resort now has 300 rooms, and an outdoor swimming pool with swim up bar, which was completed in 2012. The resort also features five restaurants, an entertainment venue, meeting and conference space and the only Bingo hall in the Caesars organization, which continues the proud heritage of William F. Harrah, who opened his first Bingo hall in Reno in 1937.

  • The swimming pool here is fantastic and very kid friendly. if you go during the week you almost have a private pool The Casino size is so so but the food choices are very sparse. I heard that they are going to make it bigger so it can only get better. We had a suite and it was awesome. The tub was huge and the shower was a double shower. Very nice.
  • We spent two nights for our 20th anniversary and enjoyed the resort room with a patio. The staff have been very friendly and pleasant. The location is close enough to Phoenix to make a trip down and back in a day worthwhile. There is an entertainment center within walking distance that adds to the experience of staying at the casino. Now that we know this is here and close, my wife and I would visit again.
  • Solid 4 stars every time with employees who are very polite, attentive, anticipatory, and generally happy. I like the seafood Buffet night. I prefer the sugar free deserts in general because the regular cakes are all dry and not worth the time except for the pecan pie. Is there really such thing as a bad pecan pie? I do wish they had more non-caffeinated sugar free drink options. I go later at night and don't need the sugar or caffeine buzz that late. They offer Pepsi products but don't let that turn you off, they have Mug root beer. I think you can get alcoholic drinks too but also as a side note, there isn't really a place to eat alone like at a the sports-bar ample-feeling bar area at the Talking Stick Casino buffet.
  • Nice place! The only thing I did not like, and this is my complaint with most casinos ..is all the smoke. Yuck. But the outside bartender made the best Mojito I've ever had in Arizona. And the whole staff is super super friendly and welcoming. Tons of fun!
  • A nice day with my parents. My parents come here frequently for a day out of the house. It's a nice casino and the buffet was nice too. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The only complaint that I have is there is very limited handicap parking for my parents.
