  • The first thing to know is that if you want to see the good stuff you need to go on a guided tour, so it might be best to plan ahead and not just show up at random. The Donald Judd work is amazing, so...  more »
  • I must be stupid. Just don't get it - cool - kind of - deep - maybe to some people - but trying to make this more than it is = somewhere between pathetic and insane.  more »
  • We took the 1 1/2 tour. Judd's art installation of 100 metal boxes in converted military structures were interesting. The same size all in rows. The material was shiny and matte at the same time. Some...  more »

  • World class minimalist art in the middle of the desert, best setting ever. You must visit at least twice. Go self guided as well and get lost on the grounds. Incredible place this meditate.

  • The outside exhibit is free, and involves some walking. The indoor stuff appears to be via tours only, the tours are on the long side and pricey. With a 2yo in tow, we didn't bother with the tours.
  • Thank you for getting me in free, but no thanks. The guy there was very strange and the woman there creeped us out. He was very judgmental and he thought he was boss. Don't go, it's boring.
  • It's fairly interesting and if you're in Marfa already then you should check it out.
