South Marco Beach, Marco Island

(4.1/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy some sand-and-surf time without large crowds at South Marco Beach. In addition to being a cozy place for swimming, snorkeling, and sunning, the beach is rich in seashells you can collect. The sand is relatively coarse, meaning it's less likely to stick to your body and clothes when wet; some find it uncomfortable to walk on barefoot, so bring flip-flops or sneakers. You'll find public restrooms in the parking lot next to the beach. Parking tickets are valid for the whole day. If you need a chair or an umbrella, you should bring your own. Before you head to Marco Island, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Marco Island trip itinerary planner, to make sure you see all that Marco Island has to offer, including South Marco Beach.
