  • Had a great time, went in mid week, camped two nights in area b. Nice bath house with showers. Place was very clean. Rode for 2 & 1/2 days and was still finding trails I haven't been on. The terrain is rough enough to keep traffic speeds slow. Started packing in people Thursday. Price is low for value of fun. We will go again. My only complaint would be the trail markers are few and far between, and there are three maps. Get all three up front. Constantly flipping through all three to try to find out where we were. I would like to see one much larger map with all three overlays on it, color coded to bikes, atvs, and trucks. Maybe have some really nice ones printed and laminated and rent them with a deposit. Would have been worth it. Take a come along and some straps at least.
  • I brought my son and a friend here for a day of off-roading with some overnight camping. Long story short, we had a blast! Most of the off-road trails are well marked with signs and the printed color map from the check-in desk was fairly easy to follow. We ended up in a few situations where the terrain was too rough but we could backtrack to a more reasonable trail without much trouble. The view from the top of the big hill is AMAZING. Even my stock truck made it to the top without any issues. Be sure to go there at sunset. Our campsite (Area A, improved campsite) was fantastic! We had a fire ring, lots of trees, close parking, a picnic table, and electric/water. There were restrooms and showers nearby. It gets fairly windy there, so be sure to bring your tent stakes. ;) The staff up front was really friendly and they answered all of our questions. They also gave some recommendations based on the capabilities of our vehicles. I'll definitely be back soon.
  • Like Disneyland for off-roading in Central Texas. Can't recommend it highly enough. 3200 acres, 240+ miles of trails, camping, shooting, archery, and trails for all skill levels. If you live in Central Texas, consider a membership. Well worth multiple visits and the park rangers are awesome. So glad I found this place!
  • OMG the best 4 x 4 experience I have had. I love rock crawling here in my Jeep ... go , go now!
  • Lots of fun for all skill levels at a great off-road facilty. Only reason for four stars and not five, is there could be better signage on the trails. Got turned around a few times.
