  • Second trip this past Monday and the fall colors are even more spectacular than the week before! I love walking my dogs here, it is so quiet and peaceful on the walking path on the east side of the pa...  read more »
  • Every time I am in Maple Grove I make sure to stop at Elm Creek Park. Though my purpose for visiting is to mountain bike there are plenty of paved bike paths for all levels of riders. There are mounta...  read more »
  • This is a great park with thousands of acres to explore and do so much at - playground, swimming beach, biking trails, snow tubing and more. You will love it!
  • I love this park! Great municipal space... my favorites are the disc golf course and the playground (don't tell anyone I go even though I don't have kids). Great hiking, the swimming pool is cool. And best part is that it's free to get in!
  • i love the lay out of the swimming area, the large umbrellas add a nice touch and provides much needed shade on super hot days, although the day we went, umbrellas were all taken! Bring your own to be safe if you absolutely need shade. You an bring small floats and you can use in designated area. Great selection for snacks and drinks. Getting the season pass is a good deal. $18/season as opposed to $5/day... if you plan on going more than 4 times in one summer. Only 2 things I observed that were negatives was a smoker strolling on the beach area when there is no smoking allowed and the rinse off area only had 2 shower heads working and the spray was a fine mist which did not wash off the sand that well. Otherwise, I will definitely go again......
  • Absolutely the best place my family has found within an hours drive of where we live. We have only utilized the park and swimming area. The park is extremely kid friendly for all ages. Amazing area for BBQing, The pool is like a giant kidde pool that looks like a lake with clean water and about 4 life guards on duty at all times. The bathrooms need some TLC but people using them also need to not be slobs. This park has alot more to offer but we just haven't taken advantage of it.
  • Wonderful regional park. Would like to see a longer cross country ski trail, but it's hard to complain when they are one of the few places with man made snow in the twin cities. Great trails in the summer and winter. One of the few places that has a good amount of paved and non-paved trails.
  • I have brought my son to the swimming pond and playground and we both love it! Very well maintained! Today, my fiance and I went to the mountain bike trails and had a blast. We've never done anything like it before and didn't know what to expect. The trails were extremely well maintained and well marked. A great challenge and workout! I can't wait to go back!
