  • We had fun don't get me wrong. But we bought glow tubing tickets only to drive 2 hours to find that they didn't have glow tubing that weekend. Are you kidding!? Apparently when you click on "buy glow ...  more »

  • This was such a fun place despite being-6.°F but the lodge was cozy with fire. Almost too warm with all the people who were all friendly. Bar staff did an outstanding job with great attitude, smiles. Band was good, (sang Happy Birthday to someone in our group) of course had heard them before @JD Legends. We didn't try any of the food since had eaten at Buck's beforehand, since our arrival was at 8pm. Also loved picnic area(?) Enclosure to observe the slopes. Great for watching with coffee after face got numb
  • Great place for some family fun. I am from Florida and have family in Mansfield and was telling them my daughter wanted to go skiing for her birthday, so they said come up to Ohio. Now I said to myself, who goes to Ohio to ski? Well I'm glad we did, this place is great! My daughter got a private lesson from Emma, who was excellent! After that she had a blast on the bunny slopes. Second day she took another lesson from Emma and had move to the intermediate slopes. I'm not an experienced skiier by any means but I was able to get my bearings easily here and was on the intermediate slopes almost right away. We didn't try any of their advanced slopes, but we had non-stop fun the entire weekend with the beginner area. Definitely worth checking out if you're into winter sports and are near Mansfield. We wouldn't have had a better time some expensive resort in Colorado, and their rates are pretty reasonable!
  • First time skiing- it was a blast! I had a beginner lesson and was taught the basics by Randy, who was awesome and patient. I liked the slow pace of the start but caught on fairly quickly, and moved on to the bunny hill. By the end of 4 hours I was skiing nearly the whole place with my sister and her husband! I love that it was family friendly but not just kids- there was a spectrum of skill levels and types of people, and everyone was friendly!
  • Today was my families first day ever at Snow Trails. We went to the tubing hill and was greeted at the ticket office with the nicest woman. She was so helpful to guide us through everything we needed to do. The gentleman who helped us get our tubes was very kind, and even took a family picture for us. The workers at the top of the hill had the greatest personalities to make it an even more enjoyable time. We are even talking about setting up our next trip back.
  • Very bad experience, I came with my friend who has a season pass and he got his board stolen right before we left. We care inside for just about 25 minutes to get a high priced drink and pizza, and we come back and his snow board is completely gone, as well as another child’s. The child was about 9, and my friend is short so they were almost the same height, and the child’s friend saw a man about 6 foot take the two boards and run off into the parking lot. I thought this was a safe environment, however all that happened when we confronted the front office was nonsense. We were BOMBOARDED with statements all including “well did you get SKI CHECK” as if I did. The child began to cry, and he was just told to “settle down”. The only productive thing we got from talking to the front office was just a form which I highly doubt will get us anywhere. My friend now has a pass but it is now being wasted since his board among others is gone. On the record, ski check is a system which snow trails provides for extra money of course to keep the skis and boards more secure. I for now on live in constant fear that my skis will too be stolen and there won’t be any solution, because I don’t have enough extra money at hand to buy ski check every time. My friend is very sad and can’t believe he just lost a $200.00 snow board which was his first day using. I am disappointed as well.
