  • Loved it! If you like the little house books you will love this place. You can tour two of the houses and there is a museum. Really enjoyed the Americana history and learned more about her and her daughter, Rose.
  • It is such a wonderful experience for my family to visit this place. Many of Laura Wilder's sayings are so true and biblical. I am amazed to see how she has been used as a precious vessel to teach us about character, family, education and many other things. One of her quotes impressed me the most but I couldn't recall the exact wording. A few days later I called the museum and they kindly emailed me back the quote (since no photograph/video recording is allowed in the museum). Think about her saying below and contrast it with what is going on in our culture right now: "The responsibility for starting the child in the right way is the parents - it cannot be delegated to the schools or the state, for the little feet start on life's journey from the home." - Laura Ingalls Wilder
  • It's a great piece of Missouri history! The home is maintained well and absolutely beautiful! Our tour guide was sweet as pie!
  • I took My Children to go visit that Place about 6 years ago. We enjoyed it so much that we Are Planning to go visit again. Summer of 2016 and we plan to go Camping and fishing there too. This time I Plan to take some of My Grand Children. We even got to go pay our Respects where They Were layed to rest and the hills were so BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait til We go there Again. It's A Beautiful Place to take the The Children too and the good thing is there Are Books they can read First before Visiting There. I recommend it to anyone who just wants to have a Good trip back into History that is good Place to go too. ENJOY
