  • This place is awesome. Start at the Nook and check out the turtles, bats, skulls, etc. Give a bit of cash, we left $5 initially but after we visited the lake and paddled out in the free canoe with my daughters using free push-button rods from the classroom to catch the biggest bluegill I've ever seen we went back and added another $20 to the donation box. The swimming dock is brand new and beautiful, the bottom is sandy and the floating platform is great. They have maybe 8 large canoes, 2 sit-on-top kayaks and a single sit-inside yak. They also have a paddle boat that was a ton of fun.
