  • We got lucky and were the only two people on our tour. Bre W. was our guide and got to spend a little bit of extra time showing us things you can spend time on in larger tours. We had a great time...  more »
  • Thank You Will and staff at Caves I f the Wind. From Texas and visiting and lost my drivers license and someone return it. Afraid of having to drive up the long mountain road to retrieve it. Thank...  more »
  • Close to Colorado Springs, easy access, friendly , patient staff, Cave of the Winds tour was really informative and fun. You get to duck and move, not just a boring path, fun for kids but not too...  more »
  • Great staff, fun attractions, and beautiful scenery. My son got altitude sickness and they were very accommodating and helpful. Once he got over it, he had a blast. Good place for kids and adults. If you're visiting the area I suggest adding this to your agenda. And do the Wind Walker challenge course with your kids, its awesome!
  • My friends and I recently did a tour of this cave and really enjoyed it! We had some time before our tour to look around the gift shop and see the beautiful views outside (see photo). The tour we chose was the lantern tour, which we thought was pretty cool...your only light throughout the tour is the light from the lanterns you carry, and you get to hear ghost stories throughout. (They were a bit scary, so be aware of that--the cave offers other family friendly tours as well.) You also have to crouch down pretty low when entering and exiting the cave because of the low "ceilings", but we loved it! I would highly recommend going to this cave if you are ever in the Colorado Springs/Manitou Springs area. :)
  • I went with a group of 4. We all agreed it is an awesome cave. The guide was polite and informative. We had a little girl bust her chin opened and the guide was very kind and got help fast. Lots of formations to look at , and some cool history. We give it a 4 star rating only because the company has money motive only. They space the group's every 10 minutes. Its loud cause the group's are so close together. I was asking questions with the other tour guide ,cause she was right there. Nice place to go on a warm day.
  • We did the lantern tour with John aka The Hippie. And let me tell ya, it was AMAZING! He was such a great guide, you can really tell he cares very much about his job. Thank you so much, Hippie. We had so much fun. Even though we are from Texas😅
  • I was here probably 50 some years ago! Just as interesting now, but I appreciated it even more now! Rocking chairs on the porch for while you wait for your time slot. There is rock wall climbing, hang gliding, bungee jumping, several different cave tours depending on your available time and interest/flexibility level, but all exciting and we'll worth the effort. Lots of easily accessible parking, and interesting giftshop. My husband even decided to spring for the picture of us at the end, and he NEVER does that! He hadn't been to this area before, and I felt he needed to see this. If you only have a few days, you really have to pick and choose. Do this one! He even got us a retired military discount! First ever, and he's been out since 1974! Ha! Can't believe it!
