  • Flaming Gorge has a lot to offer as a relatively high reservoir. The fishing can be great but to get serious about fishing for the large Lake Trout that hang out, you should really be equipped with a ...  more »
  • The pine forest RV Park is very nice is very clean and well kept. Staff was very accomodating, really great. The showers first cream, like new. There's even a toilet - brush. The first toilet brushes that we saw were during our journey of 50 days. We took a little walk on a lake and when we came back our surprise was standing there. Yes there was a deer and looked at us. It ran not no it came even closer. The woman who leads the campground came to my wife and gave her small pieces of Apple in hand and said. Go go feed the deer. My wife was ready and the Reh.Es fed an unforgettable moment of peace was terrific for my wife. Later, three deer and a Rehbok on the square ran around and branches. In the evening we went dinner. We have steak eaten a Sirlion and been drinking red wine for dessert there was a Turle brownie with vanilla ice cream for me and my wife got a BlackBerry Cobbler with vanilla ice cream. It was all very good and very tasty. Price 65.00 dollars. We were on the 21st and 22nd September 2016 here in the pine forest RV Park.

  • This was well-worth the drive from Vernal! The scenery is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around taking in the views. The drive from Vernal was easy and really pretty!  more »

  • I would live here if it could! In the summertime, I pretty much do! Breathtakingly beautiful, and not a huge crowd on most weekends. Love it here!
  • Whole Flaming Gorge is nice, but appears the two ends are the best. One on the north end, Fire Hole and the Canyon rim on the south end. The newer one, Lucerne, was nice and new, but not quite the views or amibence of the other two. Anvil, Middle part, was nice, but watch out for the mud near the lake shore, it'll sink ya for sure and you don't want to know how I "KNOW" that.. heheh, dirt off road and can be a little tricky at times.
  • Absolutely wonderful high desert views. Facilities are ok but not to rave about. Nice boat landing for access to the reservoir. Washboard entry road is very rough but no blind curves and wide enough if you meet traffic going in the opposite direction.
  • Beautiful place to visit and not very crowded on a Saturday for us. There are a lot of beautiful overlooks around and Red Canyon is highly recommended.
  • Beautiful, remote but not too much so. Great place for family fun.
