The Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art is an art museum on the Kansas State University campus, located near Aggieville. Admission is free to the general public. The museum houses KSU's permanent art collection of Kansas and regional artists, as well as hosting special and traveling exhibitions. The museum's collection is accessible on-line and includes works by important Kansas artists John Steuart Curry, Patricia Duncan, Birger Sandzén, William Dickerson, and Gordon Parks. In 2003, the museum published an overview of selected works in its permanent collection.Plan my Manhattan trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.
The museum offers a wide range of educational and public programming, including early childhood and family programs, public and school tours, and programs for K-State students. The grounds include the Hummel Family Meadow, a small native plant garden which serves as a focus for STEAM learning.
The museum opened in 1996, and a new wing was completed in 2006. The Beach Museum of Art is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums.

Although this museum is small I still think it’s worth stoping in. They have a diverse collection with some interesting pieces.

Our granddaughter was honored by having her artwork exhibited in a display that families were invited to attend. It was a festive occasion with refreshments served.

I would like to see more history and less play room for children. The local area is rich in history yet Junction City had not been mentioned. Pictures and displays were not what I was expecting. We came with 30 minutes left and boy, they sure took our money and rushed us out. Sad.

Free to enter. This visit, they had lots of photographs from local and large-scale artists and subjects. Its good for a day trip and just the right size. Not so big it's a full-day, but not so small there's o ly a couple things to see.

It is a good place to appreciate art, specially the ones on oil in canvas which expressed the weather in Kansas.
