  • Great spot on the Manasquan River where one can swim with their dog or walk a few more steps and sunbath without the dogs. Great place to sit and watch the fishing boats coming and going out the inlet...  more »
  • I don't know if I went to the wrong place, but as you can see it looked nothing like the pics here. I have never seen so much seaweed in one place ! There were tons of broken shells, beer bottle piece...  more »
  • Came here looking for a dog beach a little closer to our home. THis one is limited in size, but it was nice. Lots of people frequent the area. We were there in the offseason, many people had their dog...  more »

  • Fisherman's Cove is great as a dog beach! The area is a nice stretch of calm beach where you can let your dogs run around and enjoy the water. There is also plenty of trash cans and waste bags around so you can clean up after your dog easily. The entrance is probably the least appealing part since its kind of narrow and there's an odor of dead shellfish, etc. But once you get on the beach, its a clean and super dog friendly beach. Other dogs are generally well controlled and friendly. This has become one of our favorite dog activities in the summer time and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with dogs!
  • Beautiful area, it has become a bit too crowded for my taste since the county took it over, but always great off season.
  • Magic was ruined when a dog gave us a demonstration of its explosive diarrhea as soon as we sat down - didn't really want to go into the water after that. Beach is small and rocky, but free. Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times, and bags are supplied at the entrance to pick up after them. Most parking you can find is 1hr only.
  • They charge $7 to park. Beach is nice and the dogs s loved running in the shallow water. One issue was our dog came home with 5 tics so be sure to check yourself and your dog when you go home.
  • This is a fantastic place to photograph the sunset over the Manasquan River. And the beach is dog friendly.
