  • We have visited the Shooting Star before and have always enjoyed our experience. I has an issue where I didn't understand the comped Star credits and ended up losing about $60 in free play due to some...  read more »
  • We have been here a couple of times this year. The casino looks better that it had a few years ago. They have cleared it up, but still dark in some areas. Playing is always fun and most times they let...  read more »
  • make sure to check the rooms out before you accept them. We didn't and found our room with filthy carpets, bathroom floor with hair and worse than that the fridge had severe mold in the freezer.
  • Ate all u can eat crab legs. The legs were super small paid 25 bucks per person. Asked management for a refund they said they would refund me it's been 2 weeks of run around still no refund.. my bussiness is done there. Spent many thousands of dollars and service is crap.
  • Nothing's really changed. Same thing as any other casino. We went in and put $15 in penny slots, walked out 15 minutes later. Empty handed.
  • Pretty decent casino. Not many table games but they have about 10. The high stakes room had 2 tables and both ran blackjack. I think the high stakes room was funny as it had the minimum set to $15.
  • Checking in at the hotel was a complete nightmare. Staff was not trained at all when a new computer program was installed which caused nothing but headaches as a first impression of Shooting Star Hotel. Guests were trying to be as patient as possible after traveling hours to get there. I do not blame the staff at the counter, I blame the lack of time spent properly training them on the new system. Checking in should be a pleasant experience not a frustrating one.
  • The hotel is built horribly! You have to drive way over to this other parking lot, and your room is like 2 miles to the casino floor! The water doesn't stay or get that hot, and the pool closed way to early. What a disaster.
