  • Beautiful and unique plants and trees to see. The staff and friendly and know their stuff. They have a gift shop and rent out as venue, it's really nice#
  • Nice place to see some trees that grow well in central Iowa. A good way to get some ideas about what to plant yourself or to see some plants that you might not normally see in the wild.
  • So much open space to just walk around and take it all in. Also, there are a few hiking trails to get your nature on.
  • A great place
  • A wonderful way to spend the morning! My wife and I stopped by here on our honeymoon road trip. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was free to get in. We spent about an hour and a half milling around taking pictures and reading about different plants and stuff. ALL members of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The main caretaker, when we directed a question to her about the wine in their gift shop, called the winery it came from to check hours and gave us directions to the place so we could taste the wine ourselves. However, the best thing about this arboretum is that it is still growing.
