  • We saw the fountain on the roof at Monona Terrace from the Capitol. The view is unhindered. We just did not know what the fountain represented. We elected to drive to the Terrace and park to tour it. ...  more »

  • We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Terrace. They definitely know their wedding business! Micayla was our representative, and she walked us through everything very thoroughly and clearly. She didn't make us feel stupid when we had to ask questions multiple times (there's so much that goes into a wedding!). What impressed us was the way she was able to get creative to get things to fit into our budget. From switching around meals to mixing up the layout, we were able to hit our budget while still keeping high quality. The food was delicious - not what I was expecting for large batch, catered food. The venue is obviously gorgeous. The team at the Terrace also added lots of nice touches and covered things we didn't even think about (eg, saving the wedding party a plate of appetizers, small gifts as thank-you's, and clearly communicating hand-offs between workers). We highly recommend working with Micayla and the Terrace!
  • Absolutely beautiful architecture on this building. I spent a series of 5 days here for a conference and it was lovely. The staff did a good job keeping up with our large group. My only complaint, and its not that big of a deal, is the bathrooms are all far away from the main area.
  • When I was in high school the prom was held here and it did not dissapoint. Now I go here just to chill out or see a rooftop concert. Beautiful overlook of the lake. By far the best area of this place is the rooftop!
  • Amazing to visit this. Beautiful views over the lake, the restaurant on top is amazing. People even get married atop this place
  • Great views of the lake and the capitol building. Stopped for a pina colada at the cafe, it was more reasonably priced than expected and pretty tasty!
