  • So I'm not the world's biggest fan of baseball, and the game could be exciting or not. But the fact is that in the Madsion Mallards stadium, the actual quality and speed of the game matters less than ...  read more »

  • First, we love the Mallards and the fun we have had there for years. Last night was not a fun experience. Arrived 45 minutes before game time, excited for the opener and hungry. After waiting 30 minutes to get through the gate, and then watching a dozen young workers with no supervision, whom had not been coached on how to prepare any of the menu items and had no direction we received our order in the third inning. Got to our seats in Section 204 to find the loudspeaker working on half of the announcers words, the pitch speed indicator not operating and complaining fans all around us. Not the fun night we were expecting. Obviously no dry run had been conducted which showed little regard to the 6500 fans who came expecting a good experience. The full time staff, even you Vern looked like deer in headlights. You are not new at this so I can only assume last night you decided to use opening night to be your dry run to prepare for the season. We won't be back for a while to find out how that work d for you.
  • Baseball the way out ought to be! No doubt they know how to Manager a Baseball Organization! I can't get enough of this place! And the Players are so thrilled to be there and sign a ball, give a kid some advice, and just be the Almighty Baseball Heros we all see them as! This Team really loves its fans!
  • Went there for a work event and got kicked out for shotgunning a beer. oops. Games are fun but usually you just socialize with our friends and listen to the comedy that the announcer has to offer.
  • Went to a Monday night game two weeks ago. Waited in line to order food. It took 50 minutes to get full order. Things came out ten minutes apart so by the time we got back to seats we missed one inning and had ice cold burgers, warm sodas, Luke warm fries, and warm chicken and brat. For paying over 50 dollars we expected to at least be able to eat 40% of the food. Ended up just with popcorn and cotton candy was all that was left. Emailed two managers including Vern with not even an apology. Used to have fun yrs ago. I guess since they have regular crowds now and not needing to heavily promote they don't care if they lose a few families. Sad.
  • Really great family place. Something for everyone to do. We love to the sandbox box because my six-year-old son can go play, while we watch the game
