Madison is a city in and the county seat of Jefferson County, Indiana, United States, along the Ohio River. The population was 12,004 at the 2000 census. In 2006, the majority of the downtown Madison Indiana area was designated the largest contiguous National Historic Landmark in the United States—133 blocks of the downtown area is known as the Madison Historic Landmark District.

  • Love it very clean and nice town. Lots of little shops to go in and shop. People are friendly and helpful. There are lots of places to eat also. Lots to see went to town 
  • Parking can be a problem during the festival, we parked at the bank for 10.00 and used the free shuttle to Broadway. A very good option.
